Comeback Victory

The Colts were able to come from behind to win against the Vikings. Big plays helped them overcome their turnovers and missed field goal attempt. Sometimes life comes at us with plans that misfire or unexpected events that cause us to lose ground on achieving our objectives, but a big play, an answer to prayer, an unexpected blessing, a word of encouragement can help us come from behind and win. God is an expert at comeback victories. They put Jesus in the grave but three days later Jesus achieved the greatest comeback victory when he rose from the dead. I was so glad that the Colts won this past week because I had purchased some tickets for Sarah to go to the game. Because I had paid the price I wanted her to enjoy a Colts victory. How much more, since Jesus paid the price does he want us to enjoy the victory over sin and death.
